Pasikudha

Pasikudha is famous for having one of the longest stretches of shallow reef coastline in the world. The bay is protected by an outer reef, which stops the waves and creates a massive, calm swimming pool. You can walk kilometers out into the ocean with the water level remaining waist-deep, a unique geological feature that attracts visitors from around the globe. In recent years, Pasikudha has transformed into a hub for high-end luxury tourism. The shoreline is dotted with upscale resorts that offer private beach access and infinity pools. It is the ultimate destination for relaxation, where the day consists of lounging by the calm turquoise water, enjoying fresh seafood, and soaking up the sun in a safe, family-friendly environment.

Pasikudha Bay
The bay itself is the main attraction, curving gently to form a natural harbor. Because the reef blocks the rough currents, the water is crystal clear and warm, often compared to a giant bath. It is perfect for families with small children or non-swimmers who want to enjoy the ocean without fear of big waves. Activities here are low-impact and relaxing. You can rent a kayak to paddle around the bay, try windsurfing, or simply float on your back looking up at the blue sky. The sunrise over Pasikudha Bay is particularly spectacular, painting the calm waters in shades of pink and gold.
